Terms of service
These terms apply when you use wherebird, including the public guides and the interactive map.
Using wherebird
wherebird helps you explore places to live by comparing estimated travel times, commute areas, and access to nearby amenities. You can read the public guides without signing in. The interactive map requires Google sign-in. Keep your account secure, especially on shared devices. Saved places and preferences are stored in your browser and may be lost if you clear site data or switch browsers.
Use wherebird lawfully and respect other people’s rights. Do not try to bypass access controls or rate limits, disrupt the service, or submit malicious content. wherebird may limit or suspend access to prevent abuse or protect the service.
Estimates and local information
Travel times and map boundaries are estimates based on provider data and selected assumptions. Traffic, schedules, service changes, closures, and the exact route can affect a trip. Being inside a displayed area does not guarantee a particular travel time. Place details and guides can also be incomplete or out of date.
Check important routes, addresses, schedules, and place details independently before making a housing or travel decision. wherebird provides a planning tool and does not arrange housing transactions or guarantee the suitability of any location.
Maps and third-party content
Maps, routes, and place information draw on sources including Mapbox, OpenStreetMap contributors, TravelTime, and, where applicable, Stadia Maps. Those sources retain their rights in their content. The map shows applicable attribution. OpenStreetMap copyright and license information explains how its data may be used. Third-party sites you visit from wherebird have their own terms.
Service availability
wherebird may change or pause features as the service develops or providers change. The service is provided as available, and interruptions or errors may occur. These terms do not limit rights you have under applicable law.
Privacy and contact
The privacy policy explains how wherebird handles information. For questions about these terms, email support@wherebird.com.
